Angie Case
Angela Case grew up having a father who was a successful builder. At an early age, she acquired a natural interest in the building industry and building processes. She enjoyed reviewing home plans with her father and with his inspiration, she knew early on that she wanted a career that was associated with building design.
After attending Anderson College with a double associate’s degree in fashion merchandising and interior design, she then transferred to Western Carolina to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in interior design in 1986. She graduated magna cum laude with both degrees and was honored with “Most Creative Student” and “Outstanding Senior” awards in the interior design program.
Following college, Angela joined a design firm and worked there for eight years. During this time, she also designed house plans for several of her father’s clients. She enjoyed collaborating with her father on these projects.
In 1994, she opened her own interior design firm in the upstate. Initially, the company specialized in residential design. Through the years, the company grew in clientele and staff and has been responsible for completing hundreds of residential and commercial projects on the eastern seaboard. In 2001, her husband, George, resigned his management position in a manufacturing facility to assist in the business and to facilitate its growth.
In 1998, Angela was awarded the Beautification Award by the Pickens Greater Chamber of Commerce. She served as a director on this chamber board from 2000 – 2001.
In 2004, Angela contributed her expertise to receive the Pinnacle Award for South Carolina Home and Garden Magazine for residential design in an upstate South Carolina home. Currently, she serves on the Board of Architectural Review in Pickens, S.C.
Angela and George have three sons, Andrew, Matthew, and John Nolan which bring them great joy. Together, the family enjoys being outdoors and participating in and watching sporting events. They all are active in their church and community. Since their youngest son, John Nolan, has Down Syndrome, they are supporters of Special Olympics and other special-needs interests.
